Let love and acceptance be the revolution.

This applies to the plethora of bullying all around the spectrum of hatred.  

The fact that young children are exploited because of sexual curiosity and sensuality, the fact that you can’t be openly gay in the military, the fact that the gay community has the hardest time finding a home in any of the world’s major religions, the fact that you may end up beaten up and/or killed because of your preference, the fact that you can’t legally adopt children as a family or have the same tax privileges as straight couples, the fact that your “love” isn’t the good enough for marriage, the fact that everything you do is “taboo”…  

I just want people to know that the LGBTIQ community is loved and supported from this little corner of virtual space.  Had I been born gay, I’m sure that’s all I would be wanting right now:  a lot of love, acceptance, and awareness.
